MadWolf Technologies was created in 1996 to provide unique, client focused IT services. Our philosophy is founded on this simple principal: Excellent IT management empowers operational success. Everything we do is based on the conviction that people are more productive when their technology is fast, secure and highly available.

MadWolf was founded by Doug Wolfire as an application development company. MadWolf application development work evolved from creating stand-alone back office applications to building turn-key web-based platforms and web-enabling companies’ business processes and workflows. As MadWolf delivered an ever expanding range of development projects of increasing scale and complexity, the firm grew in size as well as in its ability to tackle complex business problems.

One of the key components of MadWolf’s long-term success and dependability as a provider of managed services has been the firm’s ability to attract and retain high-quality personnel. MadWolf’s technical staff comes from a number of large IT organizations and have many years of industry experience. They were attracted to MadWolf by the quality of the firm’s offerings and MadWolf ‘s close and partnership-centric relationship with its clients. They stay as they relish in the challenge of continuing building the company and enjoy the firm’s egalitarian results-oriented culture which encourages and supports personal and professional growth of all the firm’s members.

Post 2000 Changes

MadWolf had to really educate, and become very transparent in order to drive what was a new concept – the idea of fully covered managed services contracts, and moving away from the break-call-fix model which most customers thought was less expensive, or somehow easier to control.  The managed services approach ultimately saves customers money, and it’s been a necessary shift to meet the complexity of business’ complex IT environments. The managed services engagement allows MadWolf to address more complex and wholesale problems much more holistically. Now the MSP is having to evolve and drive change again, shifting focus from getting systems setup and connected to onsite servers, to a secure migration to the cloud.

Post Covid

The pandemic opened up the idea that merely having a hardened perimeter around your office is not sufficient.  Security must be addressed at all endpoints, and we must address the fact that data needs to be encrypted, whether it is at rest or in transit.

Cloud Computing

It is now absolutely business-critical that your organization’s key processes, data, and staff engagements are in the Cloud. Safe, secure, and managed.
